The Not So Secret Admirer by ~Negative911:iconNegative911:

She glanced over at him, he's in the row next to hers. Cautiously she steals a glance at his paper, he's writing on a piece of paper Look at that handwriting...bet even he can't read it. What's this? It's a note... sighing she returned to her work. By the time she'd started the next problem curiousity had gotten the best of her, and she quickly glance over at him again, this time she caught his gaze and held it. He smiled and laughed a little. "Do your work." The teacher snapped at him and he looked at the paper in front of him then back at her and shook his head a little. She smiled in return and looked back to her paper, then out of the corner of her eye back to his desk. The note was being folded up, slowly to make sure all the edges of the paper lined up, then stuffed into the front pocket of his binder. She continued to watch out of the corner of her eye and saw him look over at her. She smiled and couldn't help but blush, she turned her head a little his way again and returned the stare that he'd been sending her way. She looked cautiously over at the teacher, and then back at him "What?" she whispered, almost too loud. "Nothing," he said and began to tap his pencil on the desk leg. Tap tap, tap tap, she counted the steady beat as it went along, tap tap, tap tap, she began tapping her foot too making a chorus of sounds in her mind. Tap, swoosh, tap, swoosh, click click click, tap, swoosh, tap, swoosh, click click click. She clicked her pen one more time before looking back at him, Now that class is almost over he wants to focus on his work...that's great. she smiled to herself before returning to her own work. She'd finished her class problems and had begun reading her book. He leaned across the aisle "What're you reading?" "Edgar Allan Poe." she said simply. "Lemme see." he said putting his hand on the book. She reluctantly handed him the book "Be careful, it's not mine." she hissed at him as he turned the page. "I will," he said giving her sly smile. "Any good ones?" he asked. She wrote on a scrap piece of paper and held it up so he could see The Raven, pg 445 he nodded in understanding and quickly flipped to the page she'd indicated. The Raven was indeed her favorite poem from Edgar Allan Poe, and she smiled as she watched him flip the page. *Achoo* She sneezed and got up from her desk to get a tissue, when she returned she found the book sitting on the corner of her desk. "What'd you thi-" the bell cut her off and she collected her things and went to her next class.

~~~
Her next class was English, she arrived early and picked up the Edgar Allan Poe book. She opened the book curiously as she saw an unusually large spot in the middle of the book. What's this? she thought picking up the folded piece of paper and turning it over to read the words on the other side.
To: You
From: Your Secret Admirer
She gasped a little and looked around the still empty room and quickly opened the note. She read through it three times before even noticing the handwriting...the same sloppy unreadable handwriting that he had. She read what it said one more time and quickly scribbled across the bottom of the paper I like you too! Catch up with me after school so we can talk. She refolded the note and drew an arrow between 'your' and 'secret' on the front of the note and wrote 'not so'. She smiled and read it aloud "To You, From Your Not So Secret Admirer." After class she handed him the note and walked away...
I can't wait for the end of the school day! she thought happily walking to her last class.
