It's been two years...two years of waiting...hoping I'd get to meet you. And now here I am, driving three hours in the hottest weather our state has ever had...to finally meet you...my love. Love, I've told you that since the day I met you. Those three simple words that always made you smile...I love you. It all seems too simple when I look back at it now, but then it seemed like a lifetime away. I remember it...I wonder if you do too. Trying to remember, remember how it all began. Thinking back....two years ago.

She sighed as she walked the quarter mile home from school, Thanksgiving Break she thought, a whole week of waking up at a quarter to noon and not going to sleep until midnight. She adjusted her backpack from her right shoulder to her left as she turned right on Washington. Walking up the drive way of 2603 Beachball, she opened the front door with ease and threw her backpack on the couch. "Alissa you home?" she called to the house as she pulled her shoes off and walked back to her room backpack in tow. "Yeah, I'm here, how was your day?" her sister responded. "Same as norm-" "Well my day sucked." her sister always cut her off mid-sentence, she sat on the couch and listened to her. "Oh yeah? And why was that?" she asked not really caring what the answer was. "Well you know how Josh was supposed to go to prom with Jackie?" Jessica nodded and Alissa continued, "Well that--" Jessica zoned out of the conversation. She waited a minute before zoning back in, "Yeah that sucks." she said standing up and walking into the kitchen. "I know right?" Alissa responded. God highschool has so much drama, I don't even wanna go any more. She thought as she walked down the hallway to her room and sat at the desktop in her room, opening the soda she'd retrieved from the kitchen. Booting up the computer and logging onto her Yahoo Messenger, she began talking with her friends and surfing the internet for something to do. Her eyes moved from the IM box that she'd been talking in, to the bottom corner of the screen. 1 New Message flashed at her, she clicked on it and was taken to her Inbox. She scanned the title, Next Generation of Online Role Playing, cautiously she clicked on it and the white screen was taken over by a blue one with big pink words that read GAIA. She clicked on the link to the website and began exploring around, Guess I'll sign up since it's free she thought as she made herself an account. Instantly she received another e-mail, Thank you for joining GAIA, "No problem...now where do I role play?" she asked herself aloud. As soon as she found the role play forum, she made herself a profile. Hmmm she thought What to do....Family? Nah, School For The Gifted? Nah, she went about like this for the next five minutes before deciding not to role play. She decided instead to fiddle around with her signature and profile options before looking through the other forums. She clicked on the Chatterbox and scrolled down, and quickly found an avatar rating thread. She voted on the poll for the gold and scrolled down the page looking at the people being rated and the raters. After browsing for a while she posted on the thread about certain peoples avatars, just a simple 'Oh yours is cute!' or 'Very nice'. The thread soon died and she went in search of another one, before finding it she noticed she had a PM.((Private Message)) She clicked on it and read,

Regarding your signature(Random hugs and PM's) *random hug* and here's the PM.

She squealed happily to herself and sent him a simple message back.

She hit the send button and signed off when Alissa called her for dinner.

*~*After Dinner*~*

Already in her pajamas and getting ready for bed, she signed back into her messenger and back onto GAIA. She saw she had a new message and wondered who it was from as she waited for the screen to load. She nearly fell out of her chair when she saw it was from him....Leo. She clicked on it and read,

Anytime, I love giving people random hugs and PM's. So how are you doing?

She bit her bottom lip as she thought of a response,

Well I'm glad you gave me one, and I'm doing alright. How about you?

She hesitated as she moved the mouse over the send button, but sent the message anyway. "Go to bed!" her mom yelled down the hallway to her door. "Yes mother." she said, her voice filled with sarcasm. She logged off the computer and shut it down for the night, and went to the bathroom to brush her teeth. She was halfway through brushing her teeth when Alissa barged in, "Get out." she said. Jessica motioned to the toothbrush in her mouth and glared at her, "I don't care if you are brushing your teeth, I need to use the bathroom." Jessica rolled her eyes and side stepped out of the bathroom. She waited until her sister was done and finished brushing her teeth, and walked into the living room. The TV was turned off as were all the lights except the one over the kitchen sink, yes love you guys too she thought walking back to her room and turning her own light off.
